It’s a quick and simple tool to use that allows you to market your products like a professional.
With Promotions Manager, you can create various promotions for “Fixed Price Format” listings and draw your buyers’ attention to a set of items by offering discounts on those items’ regular sales price.
Note: Promotions can only be created for Fixed Price Format listings with a “Buy It Now” option.

1. In the Seller Hub, select the “Marketing” tab.
2. From the menu on the left, select “Promotions”.
3. From the drop-down menu under the “Create a Promotion” button, select one of the five options. By default, the promotion will have a unique name, but you can always edit it to personalize the naming system.
4. Set the basic conditions of the promotion. For example, discounts or free shipping on select items.
5. Select which items will the promotion apply to.
6. Click “Select Items” if you want to add items manually (up to 500 SKUs or IDs).
7. Select the “Create Rules” option if you want items that meet a specified criterion to participate in the promotion. For example, eBay or seller Store category, filter by price, condition, brand, etc. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to set exceptions for the items.
8. Check that all information is correct and set start and end dates for the promotion.
9. Complete the setup by clicking “Launch” or “Save for later”.
By creating a Sale Event + Markdown, you are adopting a great way to emphasize to your buyers why they should buy your items. A key element of this type of promotion is that buyers can see the discounted price against the old price – buyers love to “see the savings” they can make when making a purchase.

To create a Sales Event using Promotions Manager you will need to
Select the “Marketing” tab in Seller Hub
Select the “Promotions” tab from the menu on the left,
Complete the setup by clicking “Launch” or click “Save for later”
Check that all information is correct, set the start and end dates for the promotion.
Under the “Create a Promotion” drop-down menu select “Sale Event + Markdown”
You can also add pictures and a description to the promotion title visible to buyers
